Carolyn definitely had a wonderful Christmas. She received several wonderful learning toys. She also got what at the moment is her favorite gift from my youngest brother. Uncle Steve got her a giggly Elmo. If you shake him, he laughs and talk. The other night we discovered an on-off switch. She proceeded to be very frustrated when she shook him and he didn't laugh or talk.
Carolyn is getting to be a very brave girl. More and more frequently when she has pulled herself to a standing position with Momma or Daddy as her balance, she will let go and stay standing for a few seconds. Her bravery is topped off by her successes at climbing the stairs. The other day she just crawled over to the steps and climbed up 9 steps all the way from the family room level of our house to the kitchen/living room level. She is so adventurous.
