Recently Carolyn began eating solids. She never did start waking up in the middle of the night. Some nights she might stir, but she still slept
straight through. However, our little munchkin began watching with much interest every movement of food or drink to our mouths. While we were at our godson's first birthday party, she tried to take momma's cup and drink water from it. So, on June 29th we pulled out a box of rice cereal. Each and every morning she eats some. Some days she consumes more than others, but she really seems to enjoy it. Usually she is eating while Scott and Heather eat; so, it's one bite for momma (or daddy) one bite for Carolyn. We usually give her a spoon to play with and she very quickly figured out how to put the spoon, bowl first, in her mouth. Enjoy the pictures from two of our our girl's first meals. She still just does the cereal, but check out her cereal goatee. (Her attempt to look like daddy.)
