Well, momma survived the big trip to Kansas City. She had a good time hanging out with colleagues and learned a lot. Though the sweet peanut was missed a lot. To top it off daddy spent most of the time she was away sick. But we are all doing well again.

Carolyn is cruising up a storm. She can get herself anywhere she wants to go. She can chase Joey, though as fast as she is, he is still faster. Last night we put her down in the hallway upstairs for her to crawl to her bedroom and off she went. Joey was chasing her down the hallway. It was like a sheep herding dog with a little lamb. It is so neat to see them interact with each other.

Carolyn is getting so big. Her nine month check-up is coming soon (scary thought) and it will be so amazing to see how big she has grown.

Last week we discovered that if we put her in a standing position and help her figure out something to hold onto, she can stay there. Yesterday, she crawled over to the entertainment center and pulled herself up to a standing position. Again today at the office she crawled over to her toy crate and pulled herself up. She got so mad today because she got up, but could not get back down. It amazes us how fast she is developing. Her favorite thing to do these days is climb into a standing position on momma and daddy. She is amazing!!!!
