Luck O' the Irish...

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the McAllister's. While neither of us can be totally sure how much Irish heritage we actually have, we are celebrating since we are, as Scott fondly says, UK muts with some amount of Irish thrown in. We are having Corned Beef and Cabbage for dinner. It is one of Heather's favorite ways to celebrate St. Patty's day since she was in college. This will be Scott's first time enjoying this Irish delicacy.

Today was the day. On Carolyn's first St. Patrick's Day and with Daddy's quick trigger finger on the camera we finally captured her smile. We are enjoying gym time almost daily which consists of a healthy dose of tummy time. During tummy time Carolyn's neck muscles are getting stronger. She twists her head back and forth and lifts it up. After a few minutes, we roll her over and she enjoys batting and kicking at various animals hanging down. It is so much fun to watch her start to interact with the world and to listen to her coos as she plays. We don't know who is more excited about these gym-time successes, mommy and daddy or Carolyn.
