As Heather prepares to go back to work we are celebrating some special days. Mostly we are just celebrating each day that we get to spend with Carolyn who we affectionately call Cami. This past weekend we traveled to Columbus, Ohio for Cami's first road trip. Her Uncle Stephen, Heather's youngest brother, graduated from college. Cami also experienced her first Blizzard during a winter storm that slammed Central Ohio with a total of around 20 inches of snow between Friday and Saturday and had intense winds of blizzard conditions on Saturday. She had fun being passed around between her Grammy and Grampy Baker and her Aunt Susie and Uncles Nate and Steve. Joey traveled with us and enjoyed the snow some while Carolyn enjoyed a nap in Grampy's arms.
Yesterday was our second anniversary. We had a nice quiet evening at home. Scott cooked dinner and we just enjoyed remembering the two years of marriage we've shared together and all the blessings we've shared during that time.
Over the last couple of days Carolyn has started smiling. Not often or for long. We haven't been able to capture it with a camera yet, but as soon as we do we'll share the picture. Each day brings us joy as a family and we find ourselves saying, "We can't remember what life was like before each other or before Carolyn."
