Our little man...

It occurred to us after making some edits to the layout of our blog that we've only mentioned our little man, our dog, Joey once. So this blog is all about Joey. Joey was an addition to the McAllister house in June of 2006, three months after we got married. He stole our hearts as soon as we met him. His favorite things are running in the backyard, eating, playing with his toys, and sleeping with mommy and daddy.

Right now the most common question we get is "how does the dog like the baby?". The answer... he loves her. He lays on the floor and watches her play on the gym. He gets concerned when she cries. The second most common question we get is, "how does Carolyn like the dog?". She is highly interested in him. She watches him, is very comfortable when he's near, likes his kisses, and doesn't flinch when he goes to the front door to bark at all the neighbors walking their dogs. In the future, we know Carolyn and Joey will be best buddies.

The picture to the right was taken of Joey when we had had him for about two months. We added it to give you an idea of his size. Joey turned two a couple days after Carolyn was born. We keep telling him that Carolyn is our baby, but he'll always be our little man. The picture below to the left was taken when Carolyn was almost two weeks old. And the one below to the right was taken today. Today's shows what a ragamuffin Joey can get to be at times. He is way past due for a hair cut, which is scheduled for Friday morning.
